The Netgear WGR614UK wireless router lets you conveniently share your cable (or ADSL) Internet connection, files and printing facilities with all the computers on your home or small office network. It uses the 802.11g wireless standard, delivering wireless networking speeds of up to 54 Mbps and is fully backward compatible with any existing 802.11b wireless networking devices you may already own. The built-in True Firewall will keep you safe and secure against intruders while the WEP and WPA-PSK wireless encryption standards will protect your network from eavesdroppers and bandwidth pinchers. Content filtering also lets you control access to inappropriate websites and limit usage by time of day. Netgear’s Smart Wizard installation assistant will automatically detect and make the best connection to your ISP.
